SpareScreen is a Mac app that turns a spare tablet, phone or laptop into an extra screen over Wi-Fi. It is made and sold by Sarthak Chhabra, an individual based in India ("we"). By downloading, using or buying SpareScreen you agree to these terms.

Free trial

You can use every feature free for 7 days on each Mac. After that, SpareScreen asks for a license key.

Your license

• A license key is a one-time purchase. It has no end date and needs no renewal.
• One key works on up to 3 Macs that you use. You can move it by deactivating it on a Mac you no longer use.
• Keys are for your own use. Please don't share, resell or publish them.
• Updates we release are included at no extra cost.

Price and payment

The price is shown on our website and at checkout before you pay.

• In India, you buy from us and Razorpay processes the payment.
• Outside India, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders outside India; it handles the payment, sales tax, refunds and order inquiries, under Paddle's buyer terms.

We never see or store your card or bank details.

Fair use

Don't copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app, or try to get around its licensing.

No warranty

SpareScreen is provided "as is". It relies on macOS features that Apple may change, and on your Wi-Fi network, so we can't promise it will work on every setup or forever. Please use the free trial to check that it works for you before buying. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for SpareScreen.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes never take away a license you have already bought.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
